In 2015 Rolling Stone magazine published a list of the best 100 songwriters (including song writing teams).

In 2016 The Daily Telegraph published an alternate list of the best 100 songwriters not on the prior list.

I thought it might be interesting to see which if these 200+ people/groups do not have articles on Wikipedia so I made wikilinks out of the list and now lets see how many are redlinks that need either better redirects or possibly new articles... • As you can see the items with ** prefixes are songwriting team names that I followed with each person as a solo wikilink. After making the first save of this page there are relatively few redlinks (yay!) other than those ** links but I noticed that the DT's entry #47 needed an "and" between Chuck D and Public Enemy (I'm not big on rap/hiphop so I did not realize this was actually two names) so I just made that edit above. • Ultimately there is a 100% match for every name on both lists, albiet a few require a tiny bit of digging. While going through this list I discovered there was no #31 on the Rolling Stones' list at all. I also noted that many of these songwriters have a WP category for "Songs written by _____".
